Several years ago, Jena (our head of operations) and I started traveling to Seoul, South Korea during our China factory visits. On these stops, We would see our Korean client, the Cashmere, get some skincare done, and absorb all the inspo we could. Beautiful stores, beautiful people, beautiful coffees, and beautiful neighborhoods all rolled into 20K steps a day. On these trips, we started sourcing from Korean makers for our retail stores. We fell in love with the outside the box designs and interesting spins on apparel, jewelry and socks. It was these trips that inspired us to start sourcing and curating a collection of accessories for our LA store, and what has now led us to launch it on our website. It started small, and has grown and flourished, yet still remains focused but adored by our daily store visitors.
"I bought my dream earrings in your LA store, I ended up on a boat in France and I lost one, I need a new pair, don't ask about the boat, just help!" The emails always come in, from fans who fell in love with our assortment of jewelry. But often times, we are already sold out--moved onto the next edit, drop or inspiring collection.
We have always been about personal style, and the IB jewelry edit is simply an extension of that vision. Now we are working with several key factories and scouring the market on our trips abroad to assemble small drops, interesting capsule collections and thoughtful assortments of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and broaches that work back to what we are doing in the footwear space. Our shops and our assortment are a work in progress, but we like to keep it evolving, and this is part of that evolution.

This first edit is a mini drop, just to dip our toe into online sales of this category that was previously only in our shop - we are a small team and we like to do new launches thoughtfully to see how you like it - so let us know what you think!
